Inter-VLAN Troubleshooting

This network was already configured and the configuration had to be compared to the configuration table.
The errors found had to be corrected.

  • Wrong VLAN-IDs:
 Some of the VLANs had the wrong IDs assigned. To correct this you could either deactivate the VLAN or change it to a different one.

  • "Trunk" Interface not configured as trunk:
The interface has to be configured as a trunk with the command: switchport mode trunk
  • IP configuration errors:
When the IP configuration doesn't match you had to change it according to the configuration table.

You should now be able to ping!
